I wanted a language app that suits my needs, so I built one around how languages are learned, drawing on my own experience as a learner and on what my training and work have taught me.
Each language follows the CEFR levels from A1 to B2. Today's Path holds the day's lesson; Practice brings back earlier vocabulary on a spaced schedule. Repeat After Me gets you speaking out loud.

Today's Reading draws one story from the news, at your level. Listen to it, translate it if you need to, and study its key vocabulary. Then write about it.

You don't have to wait until you're ready. Say it in your own words, even in English, and your chat partner answers with the phrase you need, its reading, and audio you can play. Hold to talk, or type.

Post something simple, in the language or with a photo. A coach checks in with small prompts, like one thing you finished today and one thing that still feels hard, each with its reading and translation.

Each day opens with a line worth keeping and today's local weather, written in the language you're learning, with the reading, a translation and the key words. Listen, see the context, or share it.
千日の稽古を鍛とし、万日の稽古を錬とす。
Make a thousand days of practice your training, and ten thousand days your refinement. — Miyamoto Musashi

English, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. Each course is rooted in a real city: New York, Barcelona, Tokyo and Beijing.
Each language follows a 52-step path through the CEFR levels A1, A2, B1 and B2, from your first greetings to talking about topical issues with confidence.
One lesson, then speaking and listening practice, a spaced review of earlier vocabulary, one news story to read and write about, and a chat partner who encourages you to write or speak.
Yes. Repeat After Me gets you speaking out loud, and in Chat you can write or press and talk. Your partner replies with the phrase you need, its reading and audio.
